Du behöver ingen tidigare erfarenhet av vattensport för att kunna paddla SUP, det är verkligen en upplevelse som uppskattas av alla! SUP-brädan är uppblåsbar och kommer i en praktisk ryggsäck som gör att du enkelt kan transportera den dit du själv vill.
Antingen hyr du per timme och paddlar på Skravelsjötjärnen i anslutning till där vi håller till, eller så hyr du med dig en bräda en dag eller flera. Självklart ingår paddel, pump och väska i hyran och vill du går det även att komplettera med våt-dräkt/skor/handskar samt flytväst.

SUP är en vattensport som passar alla. Beroende på var du paddlar kommer du eventuellt behöva ta dig förbi hinder eller grundare vatten och då kan det vara bra att sitta eller ligga ner på brädan eftersom det ger dig mer stabilitet och kontroll över brädan. För att paddla SUP tryggt och säkert rekommenderas simkunnighet och normal kondition. All paddling sker på egen risk.
Hyr bräda och ta med
Kitekalle Umeå erbjuder uthyrning av uppblåsbara SUP-brädor som smidigt transporteras i väskor. Det innebär att du hämtar en SUP-väska med paddel som du sedan pumpar upp när du är framme vid platsen du ska paddla. Du hyr bräda per timme eller dygn och återlämnar brädan på samma plats du hämtar om inget annat avtalats. Innan återlämning ska brädan sköljas av, tömmas på luft och läggas tillbaka i väskan. Klädsel
Vi rekommenderar bekväma kläder efter väder, vid varmt väder räcker badkläder och en t-shirt. Glöm ej solskydd, solglasögon, vattentät påse samt säkerhetsrem till glasögonen.

Vi brukar rekommendera badkläder och oömma kläder efter väder. Det är också bra att ha med sig handduk och ombyte om du skulle bli blöt. Flytvästar ingår alltid vid uthyrning.

De saker som inte får bli blöta rekommenderar vi att du lämnar hemma/i bilen. Det går också att använda en vattentät påse för det du vill ha med ut på brädan.

Du behöver inga förkunskaper för att paddla SUP. Det kan vara lite vingligt att ta sig upp, men ganska snabbt kommer du ha fått kläm på paddlingen. Dessutom är det du själv som styr takt och tempo.
