We burn for kitesurfing. It was the passion for the sport that made us start Kitekalle and we want to share our passion with you! Our goal is to always give you den best possible experience of kitesurfing. Kitesurfing is a fantastic water sport and many get hooked after their first try. For the uninitiated kitesurfing may look complicated, but the fact is that you can learn how to kitesurf no matter how old you are or if you have previous experience of water sports. For many people kitesurfing is almost a meditative experience in the water when you get to be one with nature and it’s powers. Kite courses all over Sweden

No matter how you want to start kitesurfing, it always starts with a kite course. At Kitekalle we have offered kite courses for over 10 years. Today we have kite courses in Gothenburg, Varberg, Halmstad Linköping, Båstad and Öland. At all our locations we can offer excellent spots for kitesurfing.

Can anyone take a kite course?

We offer kite courses for everyone, from beginners to experienced riders who want to develop new skills. We customize the course according to your needs and always make sure you get the time you need with the instructor. Kitekalle is one of the few IKO certified kite schools in Sweden. This means that our instructors are trained via the International Kitesurfing Organization. This guarantees a high quality. The most important thing for us is that you as a participant will achieve you goals, have fun and feels safe. We love kitesurfing and want to share our passion with you!

Our kite courses

Kitekalle offers a wide variety of kite courses, from beginner to advanced riders who want to take their riding to a new level. You will find more information about every course and different locations further down on this page. We guarantee a lovely experience on the kite board. Our instructors are passionate about the sport and 100% focused to give you the best possible experience. Our instructors are IKO certified to guarantee high quality and safety. All the equipment is included, all you need to do is show up and we will take care of the rest. We only take 2 participants per instructor to guarantee quality and safety. We also have wind guarantee which means that we will rebook you course if there is no wind.

Practical information before your kite course

Our instructors follow the IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) standards – for your safety and high quality of the course.

All the equipment you need is included in the course price – you just need to show up, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Wind guarantee on all courses – we reschedule your session if the wind is not suitable.

Frequently asked questions about our kiteboarding courses

Do I need any prior knowledge or experience to take a kiteboarding course?

If you have never kiteboarded before, our beginner course is a great starting point. You don’t need any prior knowledge or experience as this course is designed for beginners.

What happens if there is no wind on the day of my scheduled course?

All our kite courses have a wind guarantee. If the wind is not sufficient for an effective and productive course, we will reschedule it and notify you at least 1 day before your booked course. You only pay for productive time.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

All the equipment you need for kitesurfing will be provided by us. However, it’s good to bring warm clothes that can withstand water and wind, a change of clothes, sunscreen, swimwear, as well as lunch, snacks, and drinks. It’s a long and demanding day, so we recommend that you are well-rested and abstain from alcohol the day before.

Can I reschedule my course?

You can reschedule your kite course free of charge up to seven days before the start of the course.

Do I get any materials with me after completing the course?

After each kite course, you will receive feedback from your instructor so that you know what you’re doing well and what you need to work on. There is also the possibility to be filmed and take the footage home to see how you can improve.
