All the equipment you need.
Of course, we have equipment available for purchase or rental if you need to supplement anything for your cycling trip. If you don’t have your own helmet, you can rent or buy one from us. We also have bike bags available for rental. If you wish to bring your children along on the ride, we have a number of children’s bikes and bike trailers available for rent.

As passionate cyclists ourselves, we want to inspire more people to discover our nature on a bike. We are more than happy to share our favorite tours in and around Halmstad; just ask one of our knowledgeable staff members. If you’re looking for more inspiration, we have skilled guides who offer fatbike adventures in the forest and on the beach. If you want to experience cycling, food, and nature in and around Halmstad, we host “Halmstad Smakrunda” on several Sundays during spring, summer, and autumn. “Halmstad Smakrunda” is a very popular and highly appreciated experience that will leave you wanting more. Common questions about bike rental.
What is included when I rent a bike?
When you rent your bike at Kitekalle, you always pay the rental fee in advance. There is always a regular lock on the bike, and an additional lock per 1-2 bikes so that the bikes can be securely locked together for extra safety. You are responsible for returning the bikes in the same condition as they were rented. You can, of course, rent a helmet, bike bag, or any other equipment you need when you pick up your bike. If you want to take advantage of our luggage transport service, please notify us at the time of booking.
Can I rent here and drop off there?
We transport bikes for a prearranged fee whenever possible. For more information, please email our booking staff at info@kitekalle.se.
What do I do if something happens to the bike?
In case of a flat tire or any other issue with the bike, you should return it to us, and we will provide you with a replacement. For those cycling the Kattegattleden, we try to meet you as soon as possible to address and resolve the issue or exchange the bike. In case of loss or damage to additional items such as extra locks, helmets, bike baskets, or bike bags, a fee will be charged. In the event of theft of rented items, the purchase value of the item will be charged, which can be reimbursed through your travel or home insurance. The bike must always be locked for insurance and theft protection to be valid, and you must provide a police report and return the keys to us.
Can I bring my child on the bike?
Depending on the age and height of your child, we have several options to choose from. We offer bike trailers for rental as well as adjustable children’s bikes. Please contact our booking staff at info@kitekalle.se, and they will assist you.
